SAB Thread Resolution is an original XenForo add-on developed by ScriptsAddonsBlox. It adds a simple Solved or Unsolved status to forum thread pages.
What it does
- Shows a Solved or Unsolved badge on each thread page.
- Lets the thread author mark a thread solved or reopen it as unsolved when their XenForo thread-edit permissions allow it.
- Lets moderators with permission to manage the thread update its status.
- Stores the status between page visits.
Compatibility and installation
Requires your own licensed XenForo 2.3 installation. Tested on XenForo 2.3.7 Patch 2 with PHP 8.2. Upload the included src/addons/SAB/ThreadResolution folder to your forum and install the add-on in the admin control panel. Back up your database before installation. Custom styles that replace the thread-page template may need a matching template adjustment.
Scope
Version 1.0.0 provides the thread-page badge and status control. It does not include accepted answers, notifications or thread-list filtering. Native edit time limits and closed-thread permissions apply. Uninstalling removes the saved resolution statuses.

An active ScriptsAddonsBlox Ultra membership is required to download this release. The ZIP contains the working add-on source, installation instructions and the ScriptsAddonsBlox software license. This product is our add-on code; it does not include XenForo, a XenForo license, or third-party commercial software. ScriptsAddonsBlox is independent of XenForo Ltd.
